A.G. Schneiderman's Office Announces Submission Process For Response To Proposed Release Of Attica Report

NEW YORK – As part of the Office of Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman’s request to the New York State Supreme Court to unseal the Meyer Report on the 1971 uprising at the Attica Correctional Facility, the Court will accept written submissions through January 17 , 2014 from those who wish to be heard on the application. 

The Attorney General’s application is now pending in the Eighth Judicial District of the State Supreme Court before the Honorable Patrick H. NeMoyer. Judge NeMoyer also advised that, following the conclusion of the submission process, he will set a date on which the application will be heard by the Court.
