Statement From Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo

Eight years ago today, the attacks of September 11 changed the course of history. Here in New York, the tragic events of that day had profound effects on our community - effects we feel to this day. Our mothers, fathers, daughters, and sons were in those towers. Our heroes, uniformed and civilian, lost their lives. Our friends and neighbors never came home. On this solemn anniversary, we unite with all New Yorkers, with all Americans, and with citizens of the world to honor and remember those who lost their lives and those who lost loved ones -- And we stand together with the hope of a strong and peaceful future.
