Statement From A.G. Schneiderman On The State Of The State Address

ALBANY -- Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman today issued the following statement regarding Governor Andrew M. Cuomo's State of the State address:

“Our state faces many challenges in the coming year. We must restore confidence in the integrity of our state government, rein in the corrupting role of money in politics, improve our infrastructure so we’re better prepared for the next natural disaster, and make sure that all New Yorkers get a fair shot by expanding access to high-quality pre-kindergarten and raising wages for the lowest-paid workers. In today’s State of the State speech, Governor Cuomo laid out important steps to achieve many of these goals. I look forward to working with the governor and all of our state’s leaders to make New York safer and stronger for all our communities.”
