PLEASE REVIEW: This online form is only intended for applicants who have applied for positions that are not with civil service or for investigator opportunities. Please contact Human Resources with questions about any applications submitted for civil service positions. Inquiries about applications for investigator positions should be directed to or 518-776-2500.

Please wait at least ten (10) business days from the date your application was submitted before requesting a status update. Applications must be received, distributed and reviewed before any decisions are made about an applicant's candidacy for a particular position.

If you would like to request a status update for your application, please complete this form and click the "Submit Status Request" button when you are finished. If you are requesting a status update for multiple applications, please note these positions in the "Message" field. Legal Recruitment will work with the bureau(s) to ascertain the status of your application(s). Upon submission of your status update, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your request with instructions for next steps. If you have a school funding deadine (for students) or have received a competing offer from another employer, please note this information along with any applicable deadlines/dates in the "Message" field. Please allow at least five (5) business days for your request to be processed.
