Environmental Issues

The Office of the New York State Attorney General protects New Yorker's health and environment by taking action against climate change, air, water, and land pollution, toxic chemicals, and the degradation of wetlands, opens space, and wildlife resources. Our work places special emphasis on eliminating disproportionate environmental burdens borne by our most vulnerable residents, including low-income communities and communities of color.
