Nursing Homes and Adult Care Facilities

By order of the Governor, NYS nursing homes are required to report positive COVID-19 cases and deaths to the families of facility residents within 24 hours. The order includes adult homes and other assisted living facilities.

If you are a resident’s family member who did not receive the mandated communication, please file a complaint with the Office of the New York State Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
