Equal pay day forum

Attorney General James and PowHer New York co-sponsored a forum on Equal Pay Day to discuss how New York can support women’s equitable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and create long-lasting change to ensure equal pay for women. Other panelists included Beverly Neufeld, President of PowHerNY; Dr. C. Nicole Mason, President and CEO of the Institute for Women’s Policy Research; Leah Rambo, Co-Chair of the National Taskforce on Tradeswomen’s Issues; Seher Khawaja, Senior Attorney for Economic Empowerment at Legal Momentum; and Gloria Middleton, President of Communications Workers of America Local 1180.
