Federal benefits complaint form

The Office of the New York State Attorney General (OAG) is concerned about any disruption in Social Security benefits to New Yorkers. If you have experienced any unusual disruption in your Social Security payments or you have been prevented from accessing your benefits, you can report these issues here.

The OAG may use the information you provided for future actions, or to provide information about the impact of federal actions on New Yorkers.  We will contact you if we need additional details about your experience.

If you need individual and direct assistance with your Social Security claims or benefits, you should contact the Social Security Administration, your representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, or New York’s U.S. Senators.

OAG is a state agency and is unable to provide direct assistance with federal benefits.
