The OAG is pleased to provide information on the initial payments to direct pay subdivisions and New York state as part of the opioid settlements.
The first payments under the settlements with McKesson Corporation, Cardinal Health, and Amerisource Bergen (“Distributors”), were made to direct pay subdivisions and New York state in April 2022. Additional payments under the settlements with Endo Health Solutions, Janssen, Allergan, and the Distributors are expected in 2022.
Projected initial direct payment amounts to the counties and largest cities are as follows. Additional funds under these settlements will be distributed through the Office of Addiction Services and Support.
