Investigation into the death of Winston Johnson
OSI is currently conducting an investigation into the death of Winston Johnson, who died on March 6, 2025 following an encounter with members of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) on Staten Island. OSI has released footage from a body-worn camera that an officer was equipped with during the incident.
