The Real Estate Finance Bureau Database

The New York State Office of the Attorney General maintains a database of information related to all submitted offering plans and amendments, cooperative policy statement applications, and no-action letter applications.  All information, including submission and acceptance for filing dates, plan names and addresses, sponsors and their principals, listings of amendments and their contents, file numbers and other data, is updated as new offering plans and amendments are submitted and accepted for filing. View a listing of the amendment content abbreviations.

The foregoing information is available on the Attorney General’s website through the “Search the Database” button below.  Additionally, offering plans and amendments are now posted to the database for some plan IDs.  If the offering plan and/or amendments associated with a particular plan ID have been posted to the database, they will appear on a “Documents” tab (to the right of the “Stat Card” tab), where they can be downloaded.  If no documents are available, the “Documents” tab will not appear.  Additional documents will be posted on an ongoing basis as they are prepared for posting.  If the documents you are seeking have not yet been posted to the database, you may request copies of offering plans or amendments pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law ("FOIL").

All information provided in this database is updated regularly.  Nonetheless, data is not entered simultaneously upon receipt.  In addition, although the Attorney General’s staff makes every effort to ensure that the data entered is accurate and complete, it is possible that errors and inconsistencies will occur from time to time.  Furthermore, the Office of the Attorney General relies upon information provided to it and the completeness or accuracy of information cannot be guaranteed.

With respect to any information found on this website, neither the New York State Attorney General nor any of her employees makes any warranty, express or implied, or assumes any legal liability or responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information disclosed herein.

By accessing this database, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless, the Attorney General and her employees and agents, from and against all claims and expenses, including attorney's fees, arising out of the use of this online information by user in reference to any claim however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence).
