Tenant Blacklisting Complaint

It is illegal for a landlord or broker to refuse to rent you housing because you were involved in a past or current landlord-tenant court case -- for example, if you were sued in a non-payment or other type of eviction case, or you sued to get repairs done.

This form is for people who were denied the opportunity to rent an apartment in New York State because of prior or pending court actions with their landlord.
