Investigation into the death of Jose Francisco Escobar Vasquez
OSI is currently conducting an investigation into the death of Jose Francisco Escobar Vasquez, who died on March 15, 2025 following a motor vehicle accident involving an off-duty Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) police officer in Suffolk County. OSI has released videos from two nearby security cameras that captured the incident.
