Attorney General James Secures Preliminary Injunction Blocking Dangerous Mail-in Voting Rule
NEW YORK – New York Attorney General Letitia James today released the following statement after a federal judge granted her motion for a preliminary injunction blocking the U.S. Postal Service’s (USPS) new mail-in voting rule while the litigation continues:
“Voters must be able to cast their ballots with confidence. They should not have to worry that the rules will suddenly change.
“I am grateful that the court recognized the stakes here, and my office will continue to fight against any effort to make voting more confusing or less accessible.”
